A rural county in the southwest, known for butterflies, flower fields and a forest of red spider lilies at a temple.

What to do
Visit the Ecology Park for its butterfly and insect exhibits, then walk the forest path to Yongcheonsa. In autumn, the red spider lilies fill the hillside around the temple.
Tip: The lilies bloom around September. Check bloom reports first, since timing shifts with the weather.
