What to do
Visit the Sinchang-dong site to see how people lived in ancient Korea, then stroll to the Pungyeongjeong pavilion. Songjeong Park makes a quiet break afterwards.
Tip: Gwangju Songjeong Station, the KTX stop, is in this district, which makes it an easy first stop on a Gwangju trip.
