A hilly county around Jeonju, with hanji paper-making villages, mountain temples and a small hanok village.

- Songgwangsa, a temple at the foot of Jongnamsan

What to do
Try hanji paper craft at Daeseung Hanji Village, then see Songgwangsa, a mountain temple. For views, take the Daedunsan cable car.
Tip: The sights are spread out, and Jeonju is the easiest base. Taxis from Jeonju are practical for the hanji village.
