Deokjin District, Jeonju: what to see and do

The northern side of Jeonju, with a lake park, a zoo and a leafy riverside, away from the hanok village crowds.
Known for
- Deokjin Park, a lake park known for its lotus
- Jeonju Zoo and Dream Land amusement park
- Jeonjucheon, a restored stream with a riverside walk
What to do
Walk around the lake at Deokjin Park, ideally in summer when the lotus blooms. Families can spend an afternoon at the zoo and Dream Land, while Jeonjucheon is good for a quiet riverside walk.
Tip: Jeonju's hanok village is in the other district, so combine the two in one day. Deokjin Park is a short taxi ride from Jeonju Station.
