Hallim, Hyeopjae & Geumneung Beaches: what to see and do

Pale sand and shallow turquoise water on Jeju's west coast, with a small island sitting just offshore.
Known for
- Hyeopjae Beach, with Biyangdo island in view
- Geumneung Beach, next door and quieter
- Hallim Park and its lava caves
What to do
Wade in the shallow water at Hyeopjae, walk along the sand to Geumneung, and stop at a beachside café. Hallim Park nearby adds gardens and lava caves.
Tip: The two beaches are close enough to walk between. Buses reach Hyeopjae, but a taxi or car helps for the wider west coast.
