What to do
Drive to Windy Hill on Maebongsan for open ridge views, then see Guseomun and walk through Yongyeon Cave. Taebaeksan National Park is the area's big hike.
Tip: It stays cool even in summer, so bring a jacket. The ridge is best seen in clear weather.
