A mountain county in the east, known for silvergrass hills, an old folk song and railway villages.

What to do
Hike Mindungsan in autumn, then eat gondre-bap, thistle-leaf rice, in town. Narisso is a short lookout stop on the way.
Tip: Mindungsan's silvergrass peaks in autumn and the trail is crowded on weekends.
