A quiet county at the foot of Songnisan, home to a famous old pine and a mountain temple area.

What to do
Walk from the old pine toward Beopjusa and the Songnisan trails. For something easy, ride the monorail or stroll the sculpture park.
Tip: Boeun is known for jujubes, sold as snacks and tea. Songnisan is at its best in autumn.
