What to do
Walk the wall at Sangdangsanseong, then see the Anglican Church downtown. Cheongju Zoo suits families, and Mideongsan Arboretum is a good green afternoon.
Tip: Sights are spread out, so use taxis or buses between them. The fortress is best on a clear day.
