Woljeongri & Gimnyeong Beach: what to see and do

A north-east coast of clear water and white sand, with small cafés facing the sea and wind turbines turning offshore.
Known for
- Woljeongri Beach and its seaside cafés
- Gimnyeong Beach, with very clear water
- Gimnyeong wind turbines along the coast
What to do
Stroll Woljeongri Beach, stop for coffee at a café facing the water, then drive or ride on to Gimnyeong for a swim and the wind turbine coast. Both are good for photos.
Tip: Buses run along the coast road, but a taxi or car makes it easy to hop between beaches and cafés.
