A small, green town that was once the last capital of the Baekje kingdom, with quiet ruins and a river nearby.
Known for
- Jeongnimsa Temple Site and its stone pagoda
- Gungnamji, an ancient lotus pond
- Busosanseong Fortress and Nakhwaam rock above the river
What to do
See the pagoda at Jeongnimsa, walk around Gungnamji, then climb Busosanseong to Nakhwaam above the river.
Tip: The sites are spread out, so a bus or taxi helps. The lotus bloom at Gungnamji in midsummer.
