A small mountain county in the heart of Chungnam, known for chili peppers and the Chilgapsan hills.

What to do
Walk among the totem poles at Jangseung Park, then drive up Chilgapsan for views and stop at Janggoksa. Cheongyang chilies are famous for their heat.
Tip: If you do not like spicy food, ask for mild, since Cheongyang chilies are among the hottest in Korea.
