Jecheon: what to see and do

A mountain city on the edge of Chungju Lake, with waterfalls, rock cliffs and quiet lake scenery.
Known for
- Yongchu Falls glass deck, a walkway above the waterfall
- Oksunbong Ecological Park, by the cliffs on the lake
- Uirimji, an ancient reservoir with a shady shoreline
What to do
Cross the glass deck at Yongchu Falls, then head out to the lake at Cheongpung for cliff views. Uirimji is a gentle walk near the centre.
Tip: The glass panels turn clear as you step on them, a fun moment but not for anyone afraid of heights.
From Seoul: KTX-Eum or bus, about 2 h
