Eumseong: what to see and do

A quiet farming county in northern Chungbuk, with old temples, a big reservoir and a recycled art village.
Known for
- Wonnam Reservoir, a wide lake with a walking path
- Mitasa, a temple dating from the early Goryeo period
- Pumba Recycled Art Village, an arts and crafts site
What to do
Stop at Wonnam Reservoir for a lakeside walk, then visit Mitasa. Eumseong is a short country detour, not a full-day destination.
Tip: It is easiest by car, and works well as a stop on the way between Seoul and Chungju.
