Dongdaemun & DDP: what to see and do

A curved silver design building next to huge fashion markets and old fortress walls, lively well into the night.
Known for
- Dongdaemun Design Plaza, designed by Zaha Hadid
- Dongdaemun's fashion malls and wholesale markets
- Heunginjimun Gate and the Seoul City Wall nearby
What to do
See the DDP building and its LED rose garden at night, shop in the fashion malls, and walk a short stretch of the Seoul City Wall.
Tip: Many fashion malls are at their busiest at night, not in the day. Visit the DDP around dusk for the best light.
