Daehangno & Ihwa Mural Village: what to see and do

A theatre district with student cafes, next to a hillside village of painted stairs beside the old city wall.
Known for
- Daehangno, the theatre street with small stage shows
- Ihwa Mural Village, a hillside of painted stairs and walls
- Naksan Park and the Seoul City Wall trail
What to do
Climb through Ihwa Mural Village to Naksan Park, walk part of the city wall for views, then head down to Daehangno for coffee or a show.
Tip: Ihwa is a home neighbourhood, so keep noise down. The Naksan section of the wall is a favourite spot at sunset.
