What's on and what to see
- Cherry blossoms on Jeju and in Busan from late March; the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, Korea's biggest cherry blossom festival, starts in late March.
- Plum blossoms in Gwangyang and yellow sansuyu flowers in Gurye in mid-March.
- Independence Movement Day (1 March) is a public holiday.
