What's on and what to see
- The ski season goes on in Gangwon until early March.
- Seollal (Lunar New Year) often falls in February: palaces and museums may close for a day, and the cities feel quiet.
- Camellia gardens on Jeju (Camellia Hill, Wimi).
- Winter street food at its best: hotteok, bungeoppang and fish cake broth.
