Hongcheon: what to see and do

A big forested county and an easy mountain escape from the capital area, with an old temple and cool valleys.

- Sutasa, a temple at the foot of Gongjaksan
- Gongjaksan Ecological Forest, with ponds and paths
- Yongso Valley, a stream for summer wading
What to do
Visit Sutasa, then walk the paths in the Gongjaksan forest next door. In summer, cool off at Yongso Valley.
Tip: Autumn leaves around Gongjaksan are the main reason to come. Spring brings azaleas.
