Chuncheon: what to see and do

A lake city ringed by mountains and rivers, easy to reach from Seoul and famous for spicy chicken.

- Dakgalbi, spicy stir-fried chicken, and makguksu noodles
- Samaksan Lake Cable Car, a glass-floor ride over the lake
- Gongjicheon Park, a riverside walk and sculpture garden
What to do
Eat dakgalbi downtown, then ride the lake cable car. Take an easy walk along Gongjicheon at sunset. Hyoja-dong Romantic Alley is a short cafe stop.
Tip: Chuncheon is an easy day trip from Seoul, but the lake sights are spread out, so use a taxi or bus.
