Yongsan (National Museum & War Memorial): what to see and do

Two large museums with wide lawns and ponds, covering Korean history and the Korean War, in the Yongsan district.
Known for
- National Museum of Korea, with Silla gold crowns
- The ten-story stone pagoda in the museum's main hall
- War Memorial of Korea, with tanks and aircraft outside
What to do
Spend a few hours in the National Museum of Korea, then take a short subway ride to the War Memorial to see its exhibits and outdoor displays.
Tip: Both museums are very large, so pick a few galleries. Rest in the museum gardens between visits.
