Itaewon: what to see and do

Seoul's most international neighbourhood, with restaurants from around the world, hillside bars and a central mosque.
Known for
- Itaewon-ro, lined with restaurants from many countries
- Seoul Central Mosque, the first mosque in Korea
- Gyeongridan-gil, a hillside street of cafes and bars
What to do
Eat across several cuisines on Itaewon-ro, then climb Gyeongridan-gil for cafes and views. Visit the mosque or the antique furniture street if you have time.
Tip: Bars and clubs open after dark, while daytime is calm for cafes and shopping. Gyeongridan-gil is steep, so wear sturdy shoes.
