A city between Busan and Ulsan that backs onto the Yeongnam Alps, with a big mountain temple and a waterfall.

What to do
Visit Tongdosa, then walk to nearby Seounam. Hikers can try Yeongchuksan, a peak in the Yeongnam Alps.
Tip: Yangsan sits right next to Busan, so it works as a half-day or full-day trip from there.
