What to do
Walk the Hwarimdong Valley, where old pavilions sit on rocks above clear water. Then visit the Buddha carved in a rock at Deokjeon-ri.
Tip: The Jirisan side is far from the town. Plan around the valley and bring a car or taxi for the mountain parts.
