The old capital of Daegaya, one of the Gaya states, with hundreds of grass-covered tombs along a ridge above the town.

- Jisan-dong Tombs, about 700 mounds on a ridge

What to do
Walk the ridge path through the Jisan-dong Tombs, then visit Gayagot Village to learn about the gayageum, the Gaya zither.
Tip: Goryeong is closest to Daegu, so a day trip by bus or car from there works well.
