Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto

Bulguksa is a major Silla-era Buddhist temple, rebuilt over the centuries after wars damaged much of it, and it holds several national treasures. Nearby Seokguram Grotto, about 3 km away on the mountain ridge, houses a seated Buddha statue facing the East Sea and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the temple.
