Suwon Hwaseong Fortress

Suwon Hwaseong is a late 18th-century fortress wall built under King Jeongjo to honor his father and to serve as a southern military stronghold. It combines flat and mountain terrain with gates, watchtowers and command posts, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
