Changdeokgung Palace and Huwon

Changdeokgung is a Joseon palace built in 1404 as a royal villa, and it is known for its harmony with the surrounding hills. Visitors tour the palace buildings and the Huwon secret garden, and see a pine-shaped 700-year-old juniper tree that is a protected natural monument.
